Wildflower Kombucha
Kombucha packaging designed for one very specific customer.
(The ask)
In a packaging class, I was handed a photo, asked to invent a customer around it, and then design a health drink for her.
(The challenge)
Meet Claire: a festival-going Austin hipster and former whiskey drinker turned high-vibe vegan who loves bright colors and parties. The packaging had to feel like her and stand out in a crowded kombucha aisle.
(The turn)
The early can designs felt flat. Going back to Claire’s mood board fixed the type and color, and thinking about her health habits fixed the format. Acidic kombucha in aluminum cans? Claire would totally want hers in glass.
(The result)
Three psychedelic, vintage-inspired flavors in glass bottles. After the class ended, I redid the final design on my own to get it right.
